In Runescape when you get any skill to 99, you are given the opportunity to buy a skillcape for that certain skill. Skill capes are sold each for 99k.

As a level 3 skiller with now 10 skills at 99, I seem to value each skill cape differently. When I determine the value of each skill cape I look at time (how long it took me) and the cost (if there is any).

Depending on the skill a 99 can take me a week to a few months to accomplish. I've noticed that the more money you spend on a skill, the faster it is to master.

Construction took me a week to master, but at what cost? I spent over 70M to get 99.

I got 99 Agility yesterday and it took me 2 months.

So when I look at these two skills. I didn't just pay 99k for each skill. I basically spent 2 months 1 week of time and used 70,198,000 GP to get those two capes.

The value of these two skill capes to me are more valuable than any other skill capes that I own.
