RuneScape has added an update to the wilderness and PvP, introducing a new weapon to rangers in RuneScape. The March 20, 2012 update, although small in content, has widespread implications to many aspects of the game.

Bakriminel Bolts may now be made by RuneScape players or purchased. RuneScape players need level 85 woodcutting to chop the wood and level 93 fletching to make the arrow shafts and attach the heads. These levels may be boosted. Logs must be fletched into complete bolts at the tree; wandering too far from the tree will cause the logs to disappear.
There are six bloodwood trees in RuneScape; three are found in the wilderness and these three are more likely to give more logs. Three other trees are available upon completion of high level quests, but these are said to give less logs.
The attached slideshow descries the tree locations, bolt making, and experience gained.
Bolt tips are bought from Mami Rimba in Edgeville. Only the finished bolts are tradable on the grand exchange. You must have bolt tips when chopping the wood; lest you be unable to fletch the bolts without straying too far from the tree.
RuneScape players gain experience from chopping the wood and adding the arrow tips. No experience is gained y making the shafts. Each log makes 10 shafts. When adding the arrow tips, all of the shafts are made into arrows in one motion. Each bolt made grants 13 XP.
